Earl Horter

Earl Hoter was born in 1881 in Germantown, Pennsylvania. He was a generally self-trained artist who spent some of his adult life and give out in New York. He was a successful adept illustrator and was a highly skilled engraver, etcher, and draftsman. Horter was a significant mannikin in the development of Modern art in Philadelphia and was also an enthusiastic collector of Picasso, Braque, and many other artists.
